Took a very long time to add the grip soles. Otherwise they are quite good. Note that with grip soles the boots (Valentino) will not slip and clap when walking.

Worth every penny to have non-skid added on leather boots. Just makes wearing more comfortable without having break-in while leather gets roughed up wearing. Plus having manufacturer's cobbler install them, they are perfectly fitted to the shoes for long wear.
